We respect your privacy and your right to control your personal data. Use this page to request deletion of your socialRacer account and associated data.
What Data Will Be Deleted?
When you request account deletion, we will permanently remove the following information:
- Account Information: Your name, email address, username, and profile details
- Social Media Connections: All connected social media accounts and access tokens
- Content: Scheduled posts, drafts, and content created through our platform
- Analytics Data: Historical performance metrics and reports
- Settings and Preferences: All customization and configuration settings
- Communication History: Support tickets and messages exchanged with our team
Important Warning
This action is permanent and cannot be undone. Once your data is deleted:
- You will lose access to all scheduled posts and content
- All analytics and historical data will be permanently removed
- You will need to create a new account to use socialRacer again
- Any active subscriptions will be cancelled (no refunds for partial periods)
Data Deletion Timeline
We process data deletion requests in compliance with applicable privacy laws, including GDPR and Facebook's Platform Policy:
Immediate (0-24 hours)
Your account is deactivated and you lose access to the platform
Within 7 Days
All personal data is removed from active systems and databases
Within 30 Days
Data is purged from backup systems and caches
Within 90 Days
Complete deletion from all systems, including archived backups
Data We May Retain
In certain circumstances, we may retain some information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes:
- Transaction records for accounting and tax purposes (typically 7 years)
- Information necessary to resolve disputes or enforce our terms
- Data required for legal compliance or regulatory obligations
- Anonymized and aggregated data that cannot identify you personally
How to Delete Your Data
Option 1: Email Us Directly
Send a data deletion request via email to info@techstreamtechnologies.com with the subject line "socialRacer Data Deletion Request". Please include your registered email address and username in the email.
We will process your request and send a confirmation email within 24-48 hours.
Option 2: Delete Through Facebook
If you signed up using Facebook Login, you can also request data deletion directly through Facebook:
- Go to your Facebook Settings
- Navigate to "Apps and Websites"
- Find "socialRacer" in the list
- Click "Remove" or "View and Edit"
- Select "Remove App" and follow the prompts
This will revoke socialRacer's access to your Facebook data and trigger our data deletion process.
Verification Process
To protect your privacy and prevent unauthorized deletion requests, we may need to verify your identity before processing your request. This may involve:
- Sending a verification link to your registered email address
- Requesting additional identifying information
- Confirming recent account activity
Alternative: Account Deactivation
If you're not ready for permanent deletion, you can temporarily deactivate your account instead. This allows you to:
- Pause your subscription without losing data
- Return and reactivate your account at any time
- Keep your content and settings intact
To deactivate your account, log in to socialRacer and go to Settings > Account > Deactivate Account.
